Little Sunshine

The work stalls for the week as I spend some time at home with my family, my fiance, and my future family. I've had some nice time to eat good food and catch up on some much needed film viewing. The new 24 inch iMac and Bose speakers created a very tense viewing of Danny Boyle's "Sunshine" for Brian and me. Excellent score by John Murphy and a very well-crafted and underrated Sci-Fi thriller. And today I happened upon "Little Fish" a tense indie character piece with a nice ambient score by Nathan Larson. A few more days here and then I'm back in the city once again getting back to work. The process of creating this new demo for Flights has taken far too long and I am itching to finish it up once and for all. Only a few vocals and a small amount of mixing left. I am very confident in saying that it will be done and ready for the public by the end of next week. As for right now...catching some hot Captain Picard action with the parents. Have a good night folks.

Hit The Ground Running

After four years of filling my head and straining my eyes I break into the world of professional film scoring, and after 16 hours of driving I find myself here in the beautiful city of Chicago. My first few days, although mostly reserved for getting settled, have been quite productive. An apartment found, Vocals recorded, Friends reunited, Music made and scrapped. I am quickly narrowing in on my first official film. Whether it be a documentary or an indie love story I can't wait to once again be a part of the process of making great films.
